ABOUT ME.

Junior Nathaniel Small is a visual artist from London, He graduated from the University of the Arts London with a BA (Hons) degree in Digital Media Design. His dissertation was a critical analysis of our emotive response to colour. His art is focused on exploring the relationship between colour, emotion and its effects on the human psyche. His works are deeply inspired by his research, which focused on how colour creates a unique psychological experience that can evoke feelings of calm, joy or even fear.

The Emit II Collection is the result of his research and showcases his deep understanding of the power of colour. He continues to explore the ways in which colour can be used to create a powerful emotional response. Some of his works are reminiscent of expressionist, impressionist, surrealist and romanticist movements.

In recognition of his exceptional work and the success of his contribution to the end of year show, his work was curated by UAL for an extended show the 'Originators' summer show. Enabling him to be introduced to the global community of industry designers, artists and academics.
